KesstiCookies we use
Kessti uses a small number of cookies, all of which are necessary for the platform to function securely. None of these cookies are used for advertising, and none track you across other websites.
- Session cookies — keep you signed in to your staff account, customer account, or admin account, so you don't have to log in again on every page.
- Security (CSRF protection) cookies — help protect your account from certain types of attacks when submitting forms.
- Device recognition — used only during account sign-up, to help prevent abuse of free trials.
These cookies are set directly by Kessti (not by an advertising network), and are marked as secure and restricted where technically appropriate to reduce the risk of misuse.
Analytics on our marketing pages
On Kessti's own marketing pages (such as our homepage), we may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use those pages, such as which sections get the most attention and how visitors found our site. This is limited to our public marketing pages and is not active inside the restaurant management app, the point-of-sale or kitchen screens, or a restaurant's own ordering and reservation pages.
Error monitoring
We use an error-monitoring service (Sentry) to detect and fix technical problems across Kessti, including the restaurant management app and restaurant ordering pages. This can include technical details like your browser type and IP address at the moment an error occurs, but does not include recordings of your screen or activity — session replay is explicitly turned off in our configuration.
Bot protection
On certain public forms, we use Cloudflare Turnstile to help tell real visitors apart from automated bots. This may involve Cloudflare receiving limited technical information about your visit to complete the check.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Because the cookies described above are used to keep you signed in and to protect your account, blocking them will likely prevent you from staying logged in to Kessti.
Changes to this policy
If we start using cookies for a new purpose, such as advertising, we'll update this page first. We may update the "Last updated" date when we make material changes.
